Product Care and Repairs

Complimentary Lifetime Leather Care and Cleaning

Love your leather, and it’ll love you forever. To help preserve the beauty of your bag over time, we offer free lifetime leather care at our Coach Retail stores. Simply call to make an appointment, and we’ll professionally clean and condition your bag while you shop (tip: bring a back-up bag for your belongings). We recommend this service every three months.

You can also clean and condition your bag at home by purchasing our Coach Leather Cleaner and Coach Leather Moisturizer. Learn more about how to use these products in our guide to cleaning Coach leather, below.

How to Clean and Care For Coach Products

Start with our Coach Leather Cleaner. Apply a small amount to a clean, soft cloth. Rub onto the leather using circular strokes. Wipe off any residue and let dry for 30 minutes.

Follow with Coach Leather Moisturizer to enhance the luster of the leather. Apply a small amount to a clean, soft cloth. Rub onto the leather using circular strokes and buff the leather to produce a natural luster. Wipe off residue.

Note: Note: Coach Leather Cleaner should not be used on Sport Calf, suede or haircalf leathers. Coach Leather Moisturizer should not be used on buffalo, calfskin, suede or haircalf leathers.
Clean with our Signature Fabric Cleaner, which you can purchase here. To use, apply a small amount to a soft white cloth and rub in gentle circular motions. Wipe away excess with a clean white dampened cloth. Blot dry with a clean white cloth and allow to air-dry completely before reuse.
Clean with a suede eraser and brush. Use the eraser to gently rub away spots, then use the brush to remove surface dirt and scuff marks. Brush all over to revive the nap (the soft fibers that give suede its velvety texture).
Exotic leathers should not be exposed to water or moisture. If the leather gets wet, immediately wipe dry with a soft cloth, wiping with (not against) the direction of the scales.
To learn more about the care of your Coach garment or accessory, read the instructions on its care label.
Leather (Sneakers and Dress Shoes)
Leather dress shoes and sneakers can be cleaned and conditioned with Coach Leather Cleaner and Coach Leather Moisturizer following the directions above.

Suede
Clean with a suede eraser and brush. Use the eraser to gently rub away spots, then use the brush to remove surface dirt and scuff marks. Brush all over to revive the nap (the soft fibers that give suede its velvety texture).

Metallic Leather
Wipe with a damp cloth. Rub gently to avoid scuffing the metallic finish.

Clean and condition leather watchbands with Coach Leather Cleaner and Coach Leather Moisturizer.

Clean ceramic, rubber and metal watchbands with a soft, damp cloth and a touch of non-moisturized liquid soap if needed. Remove the watchband from the case before you begin. Do not soak the watchband in water, as this can cause the pins to rust.
Store in a felt pouch to prevent tarnishing. Remove before swimming or bathing. Do not expose to abrasive household cleaners or creams. Clean with a soft cloth and for silver jewelry, a silver polishing cloth. Do not clean with jewelry cleaner.
Clean with gentle non-moisturized liquid soap and warm water. Dry with a soft cloth. Avoid using solvents, alcohol or abrasive cloths, as they can damage the finish on the lenses.
