Coach pays homage to legendary New York City artist Tom Wesselmann with this playful, Pop Art-inspired collection. Reimagined for today, this tote is based on the iconic "Cashin Carry" from 1969, a top-handle style by Coach's first lead designer, Bonnie Cashin. With space to hold an iPad mini, this compact 22 is crafted in a mix of our buttery soft glovetanned leather and textured natural pebble leather detailed with a stylized kitchen still life. Carry by the top handles or attach the adjustable strap to wear on the shoulder or crossbody.
About the artist: A master of vivid color and larger-than-life scale, Tom Wesselmann is widely considered one of the most dynamic American artists of the twentieth century. Rejecting abstract expressionism in favor of striking representations of the female form, still life and landscapes, Wesselmann has a penchant for finding the extraordinary in the everyday.
