Changing the shape of fashion: a collaboration with Queens-based designer and community member Marissa Crider (aka Offbeat Sweet) this monomaterial bag is not only heart shaped—yay—but soft to-the-touch, fitted with an ultra-comfortable chunky chain strap, and crafted in 100% recycled PET plastic (rPET). This product is part of our Coachtopia Loop collection. These pieces are crafted with at least 95% recycled PET plastic (rPET) made from post-consumer waste, and designed with a monomaterial approach—using rPET for shell material, lining, buckles, drawcords and more. This means that it can be recycled multiple times as part of our Coachtopia closed loop system—a process which is far more difficult when rPET is combined with other materials. Return it to us when it’s no longer usable and we’ll turn it into a new product according to our Made Circular design principles. (Learn more about Made Circular on our About pages.)
