Custom Dakota Bucket Bag

Everyone loves a comeback. Pre-owned and now (re)loved, this Dakota Bucket Bag is a very special Coach custom design inspired by our commitment to rethinking and reducing our impact on the planet. Sourced from the shelves of our Coach Repair Workshop (and saved from the landfill), this gently-worn bag was lovingly repaired and transformed by our in-house craftspeople who added clever details to give it a second life. It’s completely one-of-a-kind, and comes with its own unique set of charms. Wear it, love it, pass it on.

Reimagined by Eunice Chang with a smattering of knotted Tea Roses, riveted leaves and a tumble of dense fringe for a modern bohemian touch, this relaxed style has been expertly cleaned, conditioned and restored. Our talented craftspeople Fernando Gutierrez, Jose Reyna and Yngrid Pichardo Baez hand-decorated the front with tonal leather blooms and mixed-finish studded leaves, attached cascading suede fringe along the gussets, repaired threads below interior zipper, affixed a heart patch to the bottom lining, refreshed lining and zippered pocket, polished D-rings and bottom feet, massaged the back leather, then added an adjustable light brown long strap and a playful repurposed charm. Based on an iconic archival Coach style, our Dakota bucket bag is the epitome of laid-back sophistication. The buttery soft glovetanned leather style has a spacious interior with an inside zip pocket.
