Pre-owned and now (re)loved, this Gotham Messenger Bag 27 is a very special Coach custom design inspired by our commitment to rethinking and reducing our impact on the planet. Sourced from the shelves of our Coach Repair Workshop (and saved from the landfill), this gently-worn bag was lovingly repaired and transformed by our in-house craftspeople who added clever details to give it a second life. It’s completely one-of-a-kind, and comes with its own unique set of charms. Wear it, love it, pass it on.
Reimagined with a sharp graphic edge by Rose Oliva featuring hand-laced tonal whipstitching, this foldover style has been expertly cleaned, conditioned and restored. Our talented craftspeople Angel Penaloza and Yngrid Pichardo Baez hand-decorated the flap with dark whipstitching, refreshed the exterior, interior, pockets and under the flap, repaired the edgestain on the left anchor, then added a playful repurposed charm. A bag as distinct as its namesake city, the Gotham is a sleek, streamlined style that means business. With interior multifunction pockets and an exterior snap pocket for easy access to essentials, the minimalist Messenger 27 has space to hold a tablet. Crafted in a mix of sport refined leather and refined pebble leather, it comes with an adjustable strap for shoulder or crossbody wear.
