Everyone loves a comeback. Pre-owned and now (re)loved, this Penny Shoulder Bag is a very special Coach custom design inspired by our commitment to rethinking and reducing our impact on the planet. Sourced from the shelves of our Coach Repair Workshop (and saved from the landfill), this gently-worn bag was lovingly repaired and transformed by our in-house craftspeople who added clever details to give it a second life. It’s completely one-of-a-kind, and comes with its own unique set of charms. Wear it, love it, pass it on.
Blooming with an abundance of tonal Tea Rose appliqué by Eunice Chang featuring velvety suede and exotic snakeskin for a luxe touch, this flap-front style has been expertly cleaned, conditioned and restored. Our talented craftspeople Fernando Gutierrez and Jose Reyna embellished the flap with soft suede and striking snakeskin blooms detailed with gleaming grommets and peek-a-boo rivets, replaced hardware, repaired Storypatch threads, polished the exterior, refreshed the long strap, front pocket and lining, then added a playful repurposed charm. Crafted of buttery soft glovetanned leather, the compact Penny features our turnlock closure and is finished with a detachable strap for shoulder or crossbody wear.
