Pre-owned and now (re)loved, this Penny Shoulder Bag is a very special Coach custom design inspired by our commitment to rethinking and reducing our impact on the planet. Saved from the landfill, this gently-worn bag was lovingly repaired and transformed by our in-house craftspeople who added clever details to give it a second life. It’s completely one-of-a-kind, and comes with its own unique set of charms. Wear it, love it, pass it on.
Reimagined with an exotic linear patchwork by Eunice Chang featuring a mix of smooth and embossed leathers accented with gleaming rivets for a hint of shine, this foldover style has been expertly cleaned, conditioned and restored. Our talented craftspeople Fernando Gutierrez, Alfred Deaza and Yngrid Pichardo Baez hand-decorated the flap with Coach remnants, repaired strap edgestain, spot-painted the binding and long strap, then added a playful repurposed charm. Crafted of buttery soft glovetanned leather, the compact Penny features our turnlock closure and is finished with a detachable strap for shoulder or crossbody wear.
