Pre-owned and now (re)loved, this 1964 Fringe Bag is a very special Coach upcrafted design inspired by our commitment to rethinking and reducing our impact on the planet. Saved from the landfill, this gently-worn bag was lovingly repaired and transformed by our in-house craftspeople who added clever details to give it a second life. It’s completely one-of-a-kind, and comes with its own unique set of charms. Wear it, love it, pass it on.
Reimagined by Rose Oliva with a distinctive graphic edge featuring contrast whipstitching, this flap-front style has been expertly cleaned, conditioned and restored. Our talented craftspeople Ella Mulley, Alfred Deaza and Jose Reyna hand-decorated the flap with richly hued whipstitching, replaced the turnlock, applied two-tone heart appliqué to the back, refreshed the suede, then added a short crochet strap and a playful repurposed charm. Our Fringe Bag, first introduced in 1964, is defined by our iconic turnlock closure and statement-making fringe trim. This velvety suede style features a spacious open compartment and outside slip pocket. Perfectly sized to meet festival and concert venue regulations, it’s finished with two detachable straps to carry by hand, style as a short shoulder bag or wear crossbody.
