Everyone loves a comeback. Pre-owned and now (re)loved, this 1964 Fringe Bag is a very special Coach custom design inspired by our commitment to rethinking and reducing our impact on the planet. Sourced from the shelves of our Coach Repair Workshop (and saved from the landfill), this gently-worn bag was lovingly repaired and transformed by our in-house craftspeople who added clever details to give it a second life. It’s completely one-of-a-kind, and comes with its own unique set of charms. Wear it, love it, pass it on.
Reimagined with a modern bohemian vibe by Eunice Chang featuring an abundance of knotted Tea Roses and riveted leaves, this flap-front style has been expertly cleaned, conditioned and restored. Our talented craftspeople Fernando Gutierrez and Jose Reyna hand-decorated the flap and front with tonal leather blooms and mixed-finish studded leaves, applied a riveted leather pocket to the back, replaced the turnlock, brushed the suede, refreshed the back and interior pockets, then added short and long straps and a playful repurposed charm. Back (and better than ever), our Fringe Bag was first introduced in 1964. Defined by our iconic turnlock closure and statement-making fringe trim, the velvety suede style features a spacious open compartment and outside slip pocket for easy access to essentials. Perfectly sized to meet festival and concert venue regulations, it’s finished with two detachable straps to carry by hand, style as a short shoulder bag or wear crossbody.
