Custom Chelsea Emerson Satchel

Everyone loves a comeback. Pre-owned and now (re)loved, this Chelsea Emerson Satchel is a very special Coach custom design inspired by our commitment to rethinking and reducing our impact on the planet. Sourced from the shelves of our Coach Repair Workshop (and saved from the landfill), this gently-worn bag was lovingly repaired and transformed by our in-house craftspeople who added clever details to give it a second life. It’s completely one-of-a-kind, and comes with its own unique set of charms. Wear it, love it, pass it on.

Reimagined by Rose Oliva with tonal hand-laced whipstitching for rich dimension and an artisanal finish, this go-everywhere style has been expertly cleaned, conditioned and restored. Our talented craftspeople Nicole Izquierdo and Yngrid Pichardo Baez embellished the straps and the front seam with white whipstitching, refreshed and spot-painted the exterior, zipper pull and long and short straps, polished the O-rings, repaired the edgestain on the long and short straps, applied heart patches to the lining and added a playful repurposed charm. The leather Chelsea satchel has a slightly slouchy silhouette. This top handle design is secured with a zip-top closure and features a long strap for everyday wear.
