Pre-owned and now (re)loved, this Manhattan Backpack is a very special Coach upcrafted design inspired by our commitment to rethinking and reducing our impact on the planet. Saved from the landfill, this gently-worn bag was lovingly repaired and transformed by our in-house craftspeople who added clever details to give it a second life. It’s completely one-of-a-kind, and comes with its own unique set of charms. Wear it, love it, pass it on.
Reimagined with an extra bright Varsity vibe and sleek whipstitching by Eunice Chang, this roomy style has been expertly cleaned, conditioned and restored. Our talented craftspeople Antonio Hernandez, Yngrid Pichardo Baez and Jose Reyna hand-decorated the outside pocket with the Coach Varsity Stripe, applied hand-laced whipstitching to the sides, refreshed the webbing straps and added a playful repurposed charm. Inspired by the effortless cool of New York, the Manhattan is crafted of a soft sport leather with a vintage burnished look that only gets better with age. The work-to-weekend design has a fully lined interior with space for a 13" laptop, three inside pockets and a separate tech sleeve for a tablet. An exterior zipper gives easy access to the main compartment.
