NFT.Kred FAQs
Coach is offering a limited quantity of NFTs to fans for free between December 17 and 24.
To claim a free Coach NFT:
Upon clicking CLAIM, you will be prompted to log in or sign up (with your email or an existing compatible digital wallet).
If creating a new account with your email, enter a valid email address and password and sign up by clicking the “Create Coach Wallet” button.
Visit NFT.Coach.com and click “CLAIM” on the NFT that is available at the time (quantities are very limited and we expect NFTs to sell out quickly).
Once you’re logged in, the NFT will be claimed and delivered to your account.
NOTE: Quantities are very limited and we expect NFTs to sell out quickly. It is possible that the NFT you wish to claim has already been claimed and is no longer available by the time you create your account. We recommend creating your account and being logged in prior to the release.
To set up your Coach Wallet and claim your Coach NFT, simply sign up with your email address and create a password on NFT.Coach.com.
Upon signup, a digital wallet (called My Coach Wallet) will be automatically set up for you so you can immediately begin claiming your Coach NFT.
To change your password:
Log out of your account by clicking on the avatar in the top right corner and selecting “Log Out.”
Click the avatar again to display the “Log In / Sign up” panel.
Select “Log In” (if not already displayed).
Under the email and password inputs, click “Forgot Password.”
Enter the email address that you usually use to log in.
Check your email inbox for a "Password reset request" message.
Open the email and click the link.
You will be prompted to enter and repeat your new password.
Submitting will save your new password and log you into your account.
A Digital Wallet is a unique identifier used on a blockchain to record ownership or issue control of NFTs and other digital assets (e.g. cryptocurrencies).
There are two important parts of a Digital Wallet:
The Public Address
As the name suggests, this is the public identifier of a digital wallet. It is a unique string that is visibly associated with transactions on the blockchain. The public address is typically used to receive payments and NFT transfers.
The Private Key
The private key is also a unique string, but unlike the public address, it should always be kept private. The private key grants its holder permission to transact using the associated wallet. Anyone who has access to your private key can take control of your wallet and its contents. Therefore, it is extremely important that you NEVER share your Private Key with anyone.
NFTs received on NFT.Coach.com can be held in the included Coach Wallet, or transferred to your favorite existing digital wallet.
For NFT Newbies
If this is your first time claiming or collecting NFTs, congratulations! By signing up to claim a Coach NFT, you now have access to your very first digital wallet—your “Coach Wallet.” To see the NFT in your Coach Wallet, click “My Coach Wallet” in the navigation bar (top right).
For Experienced NFT Users
If you’re already familiar with collecting NFTs, you likely already have a digital wallet (e.g., MetaMask).
See below instructions on how to transfer your Coach NFT to your existing wallet.
When you create an account on NFT.Coach.com, a Coach Wallet (with a Polygon wallet address) is created and associated with the account. This makes it easy to visit the Coach NFT Marketplace and log in using your email credentials to view your NFTs.
Transfer your NFT to another Digital Wallet app
To transfer an NFT from your Coach Wallet to another digital wallet you own (e.g. MetaMask), simply:
Visit the NFT profile by clicking on the NFT in “My Coach Wallet”.
Underneath the NFT details you will see your display name and the name of the Wallet in which the NFT is currently held.
Click “TRANSFER.”
Follow the prompts to link your other digital wallet and transfer your NFT.
Import your Coach Wallet into another Digital Wallet app
To import your entire Coach Wallet to a different digital wallet app (e.g., MetaMask), you will need to:
Export your Private Key from the Coach Wallet (click the menu > Manage Wallets > Private Key)
Activate the Polygon blockchain on your wallet app (if not already active)
Import your Private Key to your wallet app (e.g., MetaMask)
Visit the NFT.coach.com (or coach.com/NFT) website and log into your account.
On the navigation bar, click the menu icon (≡) and select “Manage Wallets”.
Under the Coach Wallet, you will see a string of numbers and letters. This is the public address of your Coach Wallet.
The Private Key of your Coach Wallet can be revealed by clicking the key icon next to the "Private Key" label below the public address. NOTE: Stay safe! Do not share this private key with anyone. Anyone with your private key will have full access to the assets in your Coach Wallet.
Copy your Private Key to your clipboard.
**IMPORTANT: Coach NFTs are minted on Polygon, which is a Layer 2 protocol and framework for building and connecting Ethereum-compatible blockchain networks. Most digital wallets (e.g., MetaMask) default to connect to the Ethereum Network, so you must ensure that you have a wallet that is connected to the Polygon Network. The below instructions are specifically for MetaMask.
Log in to MetaMask.
On the Network dropdown, select “Custom RPC.”
Set up the Custom RPC by entering:
Network name: Matic
New RPC URL: https://rpc-mainnet.maticvigil.com/
Chain ID: 137
Currency Symbol: MATIC
Block Explorer URL: https://polygonscan.com/
Save it. You will then see the new addition to your MetaMask dropdown.
Log into your wallet app.
Click your avatar in the top right to display the menu.
Select “Import Account.”
Next to "Select Type," choose "Private Key."
Paste your Private Key into the input.
You will now see the public address of your Hub Wallet in the wallet app.
You can now use the wallet app to interact with your NFTs on connected sites and apps.
Connect your wallet app if you haven't already by going to “Manage Wallets.”
Click “CONNECT” on the wallet app you want to use.
Once connected, navigate to your NFT.
Click the “Transfer” button at the bottom of the page.
Select the wallet you want to move your NFT to.
Existing wallets can be linked to your NFT.Kred account for authentication and organizing your NFTs. (See "How can I link my existing Wallet to my account?")
To unlink a wallet from your account:
Log in to your account.
Click on the three bars to the left of your avatar (≡).
Select "Manage Wallets."
Click the trash icon (nfthub-trash) next to the wallet you would like to unlink.
