Design Spotlight: Colorful Suede

• The suede bag is a fall wardrobe staple.
• Explore styles in rich autumnal shades like dark chocolate, warm brown and marigold.

There’s a reason suede feels right for fall—it exudes that same sense of comfort and warmth the coziest season of the year is known for. And when it comes to handbags, suede often lends itself to a softer, slouchier silhouette that molds to you (even when you’re wearing a bunch of layers).

Already sold on incorporating a suede bag into your fall wardrobe? It might be time to think about color. Luckily, suede bags come in a range of rich shades that are bound to complement all your chunky knits, denim jeans and leather boots. Explore three Coach suede color recommendations, with style picks for each.

Consider dark chocolate your new favorite take on the classic neutral. The deep espresso-like hue is rich, warm and versatile—basically everything you want in a fall neutral.

This fall, carry around a style companion that reminds you of the perfect cup of coffee—because what’s better than sipping a warm drink on a crisp, cool autumn day?

If you’re looking for a pop of color that also feels in season, a bag in marigold is the way to go. Styles in this warm yet vibrant yellow-orange shade will fit right in with all your fall festivities—from pumpkin picking to leaf peeping.

Extra soft and luxurious, Coach suede is durable but should not be exposed to water. To clean your suede handbag, gently brush the surface with a suede brush to lift dirt and restore texture. For stubborn spots, use a suede eraser and avoid water to prevent staining—always store it in a dust bag when not in use.
