Here at Coach, we’re dedicated to making things that will be passed on for generations. Expert craftmanship and high-quality materials ensure that every product can be worn, loved and handed down—to last for many years. To extend the cycle even further, we created Coach (Re)Loved, a circular ecosystem for refurbishing, reimagining and recycling pre-loved and damaged Coach products. This sustainability initiative harnesses the passion and imagination of our designers and craftspeople to give items a second life, spanning four unique programs: Custom, Remade, Restored and Vintage. This program invites our design team and craftspeople to get creative with pre-loved items. Each custom piece is thoughtfully transformed through ingenious repairs, embellishments and interventions into a one-of-a-kind style with its own unique personality. The bespoke process is a labor of love completed entirely by hand. It’s a special way to give gently used bags a new life.

When a bag is too damaged to be repaired, it can still be used to create other beautiful things. Our craftspeople will deconstruct and creatively use the materials from pre-owned, unrepairable bags. For example, salvaged leather can be remade into a bag charm or a valet tray. These new items reflect our commitment to rethinking and reducing our impact on the planet. (And prove that some things are even better the second time around.)

At our Coach Repair Workshop, talented craftspeople will restore gently used products to their original condition. This program not only helps to keep bags out of landfills and reduces our impact on the environment, it also provides the opportunity to get a most-loved style that you may have missed out on the first time. Restored bags include favorites like the Tabby bag, Brooklyn bag and Empire Carryall.

Similar to the Restored program, Coach Vintage restores pre-owned products to give vintage bags a new life. These items are carefully authenticated by us and meticulously rejuvenated by hand. Vintage styles receive special attention from our master restorer in a multi-step process that takes many days and includes cleaning and conditioning each bag. Once the item is in beautiful condition, we offer it up for sale so it can be enjoyed by a new owner. If you’re a lover of vintage, this program is calling your name!

Great news: you can help us to reduce waste while treating yourself to something new. Through Coach (Re)Loved Exchange, you can bring us your pre-owned Coach bag and we’ll give you credit that you can put towards a (Re)Loved Exchange purchase. Your bag will be passed onto our craftspeople who will skillfully reimagine or recycled it to give it a second life. This circular process ensures that we keep our products out of landfill as much as possible as we continue our commitment to a better-made future for all.
